About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ready-Mix Truck Driver to join our team at A & G Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of ready-mix trucks, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality concrete to our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Ready-Mix Trucks: Safely drive and maneuver ready-mix trucks to transport concrete to construction sites, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, identifying and reporting any issues or defects.
  • Load and Unload Concrete: Load and unload concrete from the truck, ensuring accurate measurement and delivery of the product.
  • Maintain Vehicle and Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle and equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with Construction Teams: Work closely with construction teams to ensure timely delivery of concrete, coordinating with them to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a ready-mix truck driver or in a related field is an asset.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid driver's abstract and any other required certifications.
