About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ready-Mix Truck Driver to join our team at A & G Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting ready-mix concrete to construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a ready-mix truck to transport concrete to construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality product.
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, using computer equipment and GPS navigation.
  • Load and unload goods, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and maintain a clean driving record.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
