Program Manager Principal Consultant
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement client-specific solutions, adhering to best practices and company processes.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear expectations, project updates, and seamless handoffs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, timelines, and status reports.
- Lead technical discussions, provide estimates for design and development activities, and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, influencing project direction and managing expectations.
- Drive cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and company processes to continuously improve project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure a smooth transition of projects to the operations team, ensuring customer satisfaction and ongoing support.
Requirements
- 10+ years of project management and implementation management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading large, complex application development projects.
- Experience with software re-write, re-engineering, and re-factoring projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, driving cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
- Banking experience desirable but not necessary.
