We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at ILC Logistics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our teams, ensuring the successful implementation of our organizational policies and programs.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support the achievement of our business objectives.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Co-ordination and Control: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and establish financial and administrative controls.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, and delegate the necessary authority to them.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
