As a key member of the Brookfield Residential team, the Interior Designer plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through expert interior selections. This role requires a strong knowledge base in current design trends and customer needs, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current interior design trends and customer preferences
* Collaborate with the Interior Design Lead to enhance and update product offerings
* Provide expert guidance to homeowners on interior selections, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
* Maintain strong relationships with trade partners and suppliers
* Ensure seamless communication with internal departments to meet project timelines
* Identify and propose budget-conscious alternatives for homeowners
* Ensure feature home interior selections align with target demographics
* Represent the Brookfield Residential brand and culture in a positive manner
* Liaise with Estimating for accurate pricing requests
* Attend product knowledge sessions with trade partners
* Document and photograph customer home walkthroughs for team inspiration

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction
* Post-secondary education in Interior Design
* Extensive product knowledge in latest design trends
* Strong computer skills and ability to create visual presentations
* Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, and customers
