Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As a Falkbuilt Branch Designer, you will work closely with our team to bring projects from design to production while ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Project Development: Interpret architectural designs and realize them in 2D and 3D formats.
- Client Communication: Meet with clients to create detailed visual and written communication to clarify specific requirements.
- Design Estimation: Create estimates based on project designs and construction plans.
- Design Drafting: Use Revit with a Falkbuilt-specific add-in to draft design drawings, including renderings, 3D models, flythroughs, and submittal drawings.
- Plan Validation: Validate plans against construction, electrical engineering, and Architect & Design (A&D) drawing sets.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Financial Management: Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Design Execution: Manage and execute design assignments promptly and meet milestones and deadlines.
- Documentation: Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.
- Site Evaluation: Assist in evaluating site conditions and constraints for construction projects.
- Project Updates: Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Creative Problem-Solving: A creative self-starter with the ability to solve problems individually and as part of a team.
- Technical Aptitude: Aptitude with technology and willingness to learn and improve every day.
- Design Experience: Hands-on experience with Revit, Enscape, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
- Organizational Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Project Management software and other technologies.
- Construction Knowledge: Ability to read construction documents and specifications.
- Design Logic: Experience using Revit/design drawing logic to create an architectural construction set.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with stakeholders.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Architectural Technology or Interior Design.
- Experience: 5 years of architectural design or studio background and experience.
