About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Innovate R Technologies Inc. as a User Support Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technology-related issues.
  • Research and implement solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing technical manuals, user guides, and other resources.
  • Offer advice and training to users to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a comprehensive problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Collaborate with the development team to redesign applications and software, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users, resolving technical issues and ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Configure and set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Perform regular backups and recovery operations for web servers, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in IT and computer systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and implement complex technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Linux, JavaOS, networking software, and data analysis software, with experience in MS Windows.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong initiative, judgment, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
