Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technician I to join our team at BGIS. As a Technician I, you will play a critical role in maintaining the facilities and grounds of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and grounds, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of facilities and grounds to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of facilities and equipment.
  • Respond to service requests and perform corrective maintenance as needed.
  • Operate and maintain facility mechanical, electrical, and other systems.
  • Manage work orders and record resolution data within our service management database.
  • Assist in enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction through excellent customer service and communication.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Up to 1 year of facility operations and maintenance work experience preferred.
  • Ability to adhere to and execute processes and practices related to facility operations and maintenance.
  • Strong client-service orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to work shifts, be available for on-call/standby, and emergency call-outs as needed.
