At BGIS, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and on-demand services on grounds and non-technical facility components, including walls, floors, and other systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with established processes and practices.
  • Comply with all internal and external requirements, including environmental, health and safety, and fire protection regulations.
  • Conduct regular facility and facility non-technical component monitoring and inspection.
  • Provide observations and suggestions for enhancements and repairs.
  • Respond to routine service requests and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Operate facility mechanical, electrical, and other systems.
  • Manage work order life cycle and record resolution data within our service maintenance management database.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Up to 1 year of facility operations and maintenance work experience.
  • Ability to adhere to and execute processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain facility groups and non-technical facility components.
  • Ability to provide observations and suggestions for enhancements.
  • Ability to research and learn fire, life, safety, and building codes and standards.
  • Strong client-service orientation and high sense of urgency.
  • Effective communication skills for data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification.
