As a Wealth Management Advisor, your primary focus will be on cultivating and enhancing client relationships by delivering exceptional advice and service tailored to the mass affluent market. Your clients are your most valuable asset, and your mission is to provide investment and financial planning guidance to help them achieve their unique objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Following a comprehensive financial planning framework, you will concentrate on investment sales and acquiring new clients, while also identifying business development opportunities with prospects and clients in your designated market area.

Your contributions will include:

  • Conducting thorough reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning, utilizing your financial planning expertise and tools to support clients' financial aspirations.
  • Exhibiting a natural curiosity to uncover and address client needs, delivering trusted financial advice regarding investments and retirement strategies.
  • Demonstrating self-motivation and a goal-oriented approach to identify client needs and develop personalized financial strategies and solutions.
  • Fostering strong engagement with clients, providing education, insights, and expert advice.
  • Adopting a collaborative approach when interacting with peers, clients, and partners.
  • Building and nurturing relationships, focusing on delivering an exceptional client experience and enhancing long-term relationships with existing clients.

Qualifications:

Do you possess the skills necessary to excel in this role? We invite you to consider this opportunity if you have:

  • Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
  • Successfully completed (or are in the process of completing) the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation (or IQPF designation within Quebec), and/or the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • Accreditation as a mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing requirements (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
  • The ability to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory landscape.
