Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Non-Ferrous Receiver to join our team at our AIM Recyclage Baie Comeau site. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and classify non-ferrous metals with precision and accuracy
- Operate a forklift to move materials around the facility
- Perform daily maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Assist with torch cutting as needed
- Prepare shipments and receive materials
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Experience operating a forklift is an asset
- Knowledge of metals is an asset
- Ability to work in a dusty environment and outdoors, rain or shine
- Good physical shape and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
