Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth and Family Counsellor to join our team at Wood's Homes. As a key member of our U12 program, you will provide high-quality services to children, youth, and families in a structured setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients to develop personal and social functioning.
  • Participate in supervisory meetings, team meetings, and training sessions to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Provide therapeutic support to clients and their families, including attendance at case conferences and consultations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and transportation.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as social sciences, child and youth care, or social work.
  • Minimum two to four years of experience working with young people.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Class 5 driver's license and own transportation.
