Job Summary

Club Value Cleaners Inc. is seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of cleaning and garment care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and Add Chemicals: Prepare and mix detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve optimal cleaning results.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate machines to dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and leather garments, as well as steam pressers and hand irons to finish dry-cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Hand Finish Garments: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments to ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Assemble and Bag Articles: Assemble and bag finished articles, ensuring that they meet our establishment standards.
  • Quality Control: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our quality standards, and record any damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Attention to Detail: Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, ensuring that all garments are cleaned and finished to the highest standard.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks, such as folding and bagging garments, with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that all garments are finished on time.
