Laundry Worker Job Description

At Club Value Cleaners Inc., we are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of cleaning and finishing services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and Add Chemicals: Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve the desired cleaning results.
  • Operate Machines: Operate machines to dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and leather garments.
  • Hand Fold and Bag: Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles.
  • Hand Iron and Finish: Hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments.
  • Operate Finishing Equipment: Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Check and Record: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met and record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and ensure that customers are satisfied with the cleaning and finishing services.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure that all garments are cleaned and finished to the highest standard.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work Under Pressure: Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that all garments are cleaned and finished on time.
