Laundry Worker Job Description

At Club Value Cleaners Inc., we are seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of cleaning and finishing services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve optimal cleaning results.
  • Operate machines to dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and leather garments, as well as operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers.
  • Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, and hand iron laundered fine linens or dry-cleaned silk garments.
  • Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met, and match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles.
  • Record damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles, and use hand-held steam iron to touch up finished garments and other articles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate cash register.
