About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Papa John's Pizza. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food items to order, including pizzas, salads, and sandwiches.
    • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions.
    • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
    • Follow proper sanitation and food safety procedures to ensure a clean and healthy environment for customers and staff.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive and stock inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
