About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Pizza Fiamma. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits and ensure financial stability.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers to secure the best possible prices for food and other supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or fast food outlet/concession.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
