About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Team Member to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
