About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Indian Spice Cuisine Ltd. as a Kitchen Operations Specialist. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and manage kitchen staff, ensuring we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

As a member of our culinary team, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking food for our customers. You will be required to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and adhere to high standards of quality and presentation.
