Role OverviewThe Rental Agent plays a crucial role in the operational success of the Cinelease branch. This position involves addressing customer inquiries regarding products and services, processing rental requests, and ensuring that customer needs are met with precision and promptness.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with daily equipment requests, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate delivery and pickup logistics.
- Communicate effectively with the Shop Foreman regarding equipment transportation details.
- Maintain accurate and detailed show files across various categories including main packages, electric add-ons, and exchanges.
- Process sub-rentals, manage incoming and outgoing orders, and handle contracts along with reports on missing or damaged items.
- Forward contracts, purchase orders, and reports to the Accounting department in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities and prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing stress effectively.
- Sub-rent and procure equipment as necessary.
- Accurately process purchase orders and negotiate with vendors for favorable pricing.
- Utilize the RTPRO program for inventory and order management.
- Assist in conducting annual inventory checks.
- Support the training of new Rental Agents.
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and system management.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Effective listening and communication abilities.
- Dependable and capable of engaging in meaningful customer interactions.
- Timely follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Adaptability to new environments and situations.
- Attention to detail in all tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a BA/BS degree in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

- Solid computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
- Effective communication with all organizational levels.
The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $75,000.
