Job Summary

LIFTEX EQUIPMENT RENTALS INC. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, utilizing computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring that all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Service attachments and working tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
