Logistics and Site Manager

Jepson Petroleum Ltd, a leading wholesale distributor for Petro-Canada, is currently in search of a dedicated Fuel Driver to support our CN Rail contract. We are looking for a motivated and safety-conscious individual who possesses a strong work ethic. Our organization provides a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage the daily activities of the site.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate fuel distribution and assist in managing railcar placement and inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement processes aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and lead a team of site personnel.
  • Design and manage staff schedules to guarantee sufficient coverage and smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Equipment Maintenance and Management:

  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and operational.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams or external contractors for necessary repairs and upgrades.
  • Regularly inspect the site to maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper signage.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity, ideally within the fuel or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of fuel handling, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Competence in basic computer operations and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and juggle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.83 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
