Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our fast-growing and dynamic team. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in the future of our company, responsible for optimizing existing product lines and innovating new products. You will develop a vision and sustainable strategies to enhance our company's success and growth, working closely with all operational departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Roadmap and P&L
- Define the product roadmap and P&L for assigned categories within the Medicom portfolio (personal protective equipment (PPE), sterilization and infection control solutions).
- Customer Feedback and Market Opportunities
- Compile voice of customer feedback, conduct win/loss analysis, and identify market opportunities within relevant segments (dental, medical, research/lab/industrial across North America).
- Competitive Intelligence and Market Trends
- Oversee competitive intelligence and monitor market trends.
- Product Portfolio and Distribution Strategies
- Continuously evaluate the product portfolio and distribution strategies.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage product lifecycle.
- Pricing and Positioning
- Define baseline pricing and product positioning.
- Business Cases and Innovation
- Implement relevant business cases aligned with the roadmap, providing recommendations to drive profitable growth.
- Foster innovation based on competitive intelligence.
- Collaboration and Program Execution
- Closely collaborate with the marketing team to transition New Product Introduction (NPI) gates downstream.
- Monitor program execution with relevant stakeholders (sourcing, supply chain, quality and regulatory, finance, downstream marketing, product development, M&A).
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant business experience (e.g., product management, marketing, sales, business development).
- Leadership and Strategic Decision-Making
- Prior experience in strategic decision-making and planning.
- Program Management
- Experience providing leadership and oversight of large, complex, multi-year programs requiring significant internal and/or external resources.
- Relationship Building and Negotiation
- Experience building relationships, negotiating, and partnering with senior leadership.
- Regulated Environment and Sales Models
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as medical devices.
- Experience with distributor sales models.
- Market Knowledge and Bilingualism
- Experience in both Canadian and US markets.
- Bilingual (French and English).
