Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
    • Certifications
      • Safe Food Handling certificate.
    • Work Environment
      • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
      • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
      • Physically demanding role.
