Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Savic Homes Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to heights, noise, and physically demanding tasks.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and with heavy loads.
- Excellent physical stamina, with ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team.
- Reliability, accuracy, and a strong work ethic.
- Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to estimate costs and materials efficiently.
