Role OverviewKey Responsibilities- Accountable for meeting and surpassing financial targets across North America.
- Formulate and implement detailed marketing strategies to fulfill brand goals within the US and Canadian markets.
- Guide, mentor, and oversee the marketing teams in the US and Canada to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.
- Engage in cross-departmental collaboration with sales, product innovation, and operations to propel integrated marketing campaigns and projects.
- Evaluate market dynamics and consumer insights to refine marketing strategies and uncover growth avenues.
- Effectively manage the marketing budget, distributing resources based on return on investment and strategic priorities.
- Supervise the creation of marketing collateral, promotional events, and advertising efforts.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, offering insights and suggestions for ongoing enhancement.
- Remain informed about industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes impacting the probiotics sector.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for business engagements and client interactions.
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required, preferably in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing roles within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, ideally within a supplement, OTC, or nutrition/wellness organization.
- Demonstrated marketing experience in both the US and Canadian markets.
- Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that foster brand growth and meet business objectives.
- Strong leadership capabilities and team management experience, with a track record of cultivating high-performing teams.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market research for informed decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience (of personnel, projects, and agencies).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving company and adapt to changes swiftly.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and deconstruct complex business scenarios.
- Capacity to excel in an entrepreneurial business setting.
- High initiative with the ability to self-motivate and prioritize effectively.
