Dealership Financial Manager

Ramsay's Auto Sales Limited is seeking a highly skilled Dealership Controller to oversee the financial operations of our dealerships. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial health and contributing to our continued success and growth.
Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank deposits, ensuring compliance with Honda Canada policies and practices.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable government finance regulations, including filing and/or maintaining required tax forms, payroll taxes, and deposits.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the successful execution of financial operations.
- Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to key stakeholders, including the ownership team, management, and employees.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field of study.
- Experience: 2-4 years' experience in a role with similar responsibilities, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and proficiency in accounting and payroll systems.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and work in a team-oriented environment.
