About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optician to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible optical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on eyewear and contact lenses to customers
  • Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair and dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses and specialty eyewear
  • Meet and exceed optical sales targets
  • Provide optical training to staff
  • Manage employee scheduling and labour management
  • Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging

Requirements:

  • Provincially licensed within the jurisdiction and a minimum of 1-year Optical experience
  • Management experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Highly organized, diligent, with strong time management capabilities
  • Enthusiastic and concise communication to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • A love for fashion, eyewear and the retail industry
