  • Develop and implement training programs for staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Take measurements, fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses, and specialty eyewear, ensuring accurate and timely service.
  • Order and receive product, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
  • Build and lead diverse teams, fostering a workplace culture of inclusiveness, respect, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Provincially licensed within the jurisdiction and a minimum of 1-year optical experience.
  • Management experience is an asset, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Highly organized, diligent, and effective time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
  • A passion for fashion, eyewear, and the retail industry, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
