Underwriting Manager/AVP, Public Management Liability

Zurich Canada is seeking a seasoned Underwriting Manager/AVP to lead our National Accounts Management Liability and Financial Institutions portfolios. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for making strategic underwriting decisions, managing a team of underwriters, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of underwriters to identify new business opportunities and make informed underwriting decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key distributors and stakeholders
- Ensure that accounts meet the organization's appetite and risk tolerance
- Oversee negotiations of terms and conditions and close deals
- Monitor sales pipeline and production metrics
- Identify market trends and coverage exposures that may impact business results
- 7+ years of experience in Public Management Liability Underwriting or Financial Institutions
- 2+ years of management experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
