About the Role
Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a highly experienced Underwriting Manager to lead our Public Management Liability team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting process, managing a team of underwriters, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of underwriters to ensure accurate and timely underwriting decisions
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform underwriting decisions
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to underwriting team members
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in public management liability underwriting or a related field
- Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team of underwriters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
