About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Controller to join our team at LeddarTech. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Control: Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax laws, financial reporting standards, and other relevant regulations.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an Accounting focus or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences.
  • Professional Certifications: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in a publicly traded company listed on NASDAQ.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and knowledge of ERP software, particularly Genius.
  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written.
