About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Support Specialist to join our team at Calgary Software Developers. As an Office Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and process various documents, including correspondence, reports, and invoices.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records and files.
    • Perform data entry and maintain databases.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Respond to incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Office Operations
    • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
    • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations and budgeting.
    • Prepare and monitor contracts and budgets.
  • Screening and Hiring
    • Assist with the screening and hiring process, including scheduling interviews and conducting background checks.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
