Job Summary

As a Financial Services Professional at Royal Bank of Canada, you will be responsible for attracting, nurturing, and growing relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. You will provide proactive, professional advice and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals and navigate key life events. Your expertise will contribute to strong sales and retention, while also enhancing the client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition and Retention
    • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive sales and retention
  • Financial Planning and Advice
    • Provide expert advice on credit and investment products to clients
    • Collaborate with RBC partners to deliver customized solutions to clients
  • Business Development
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders to drive business growth

Requirements

  • Education and Certifications
    • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
    • Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
  • Experience
    • 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments
  • Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
    • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
