As a leader in the sustainable seafood sector, Clearwater supplies a diverse range of premium wild-caught seafood, including scallops, lobster, langoustine, clams, whelk, cold water shrimp, and crabs. The company markets its products under various brands, including Clearwater and Macduff, catering to wholesalers, retailers, and foodservice distributors around the globe.

To support its global operations, Clearwater Seafoods is seeking an IT Analyst, Global Service Desk to be based at its corporate office. This permanent, full-time role reports directly to the Manager of the Global Service Desk.

Position Overview:

The IT Analyst, Global Service Desk will play a crucial role in supporting Clearwater's global IT infrastructure. This position involves collaboration with the Global Service Desk team to align with IT strategies and initiatives, ensuring effective service desk operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line IT support to various business units in collaboration with the Global Service Desk team.
  • Assist in developing IT policies and procedures for problem identification, documentation, assignment, and resolution.
  • Analyze Service Desk performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance service quality.
  • Manage incoming requests and incidents to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Support mobile devices and printing solutions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.
  • Assist with email filtering and antivirus software requests.
  • Oversee the procurement process for IT equipment.
  • Facilitate software deployments and manage backup procedures.
  • Provide support for global meetings using approved conferencing solutions.
  • Manage user accounts within Active Directory and Exchange platforms.

  • Ability to convey technical concepts in a user-friendly manner.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college or technical diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
  • Familiarity with current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards.
  • Proficient in hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience with testing tools and procedures.
  • Understanding of data privacy practices and regulations.

Work Environment:

  • Location: Corporate office.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to facilities may be necessary.
