Salesforce Administrator/Junior Developer

As a Salesforce Administrator/Junior Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the system is updated and security protocols are met for production and sandbox platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review business activities and coordinate interviews with key contributors to discover key requirements.
  • Translate findings into solutions for system efficiencies and optimization.
  • Implement configuration and code changes, approval processes, and custom object implementation.
  • Act as a functional lead for customization, data management, requirements, analysis, and business process review, including data extraction and report writing.
  • Develop, deliver, and document user onboarding training modules for new users.
  • Assist with the rollout of training with the development of training materials.
  • Solicit training feedback, evaluate effectiveness, and make required improvements, communicating findings to interested parties.
  • Develop, determine, test, and communicate user best practices and incorporate them into training initiatives.
  • Maintain system integrity.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual data and system maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate and timely export and backup.
  • Maintain communities and partner portals.
  • Run deduplication, adoption, data quality tools, and utilization reports. Review errors and debug logs.
  • Report findings and develop solutions.
  • Provide authorized user access based on formal documentation and approvals.
  • Deactivate and reassign roles and profiles.
  • Provide user support, including report writing guidance.
  • Fix data records, troubleshoot workflows, approval cycles, delegation, and escalation paths. Monitor usage, audits, and provide required reports.
  • Develop, configure, and implement appropriate testing for upgrades and patches, making course corrections as required.
  • Coordinate the release of program and application upgrades and patches to users, ensuring appropriate testing, training, and approvals are obtained.
  • Read release notes, coordinate, arrange, organize, and communicate changes and schedules.
  • Ensure thorough testing is completed prior to approved release, prepare documentation, findings, and briefs as required.
  • Contact the vendor if issues arise.
  • Provide support for 3rd party integrations as required.
Requirements:
  • Community College – 2-year certificate or Diploma in Marketing.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification, Platform Developer Certification, Platform App Builder Certification required.
  • 3-4 years' related work experience.
  • Requires experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
  • Salesforce CPQ and Marketing Cloud would be considered an asset.
