Join Our Team as a Junior Software Developer

Hatch Ltd. is a global leader in the mining, energy, and infrastructure industries. We're seeking a talented Junior Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in Agile teams to complete committed backlogs within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Be involved in all technical activities within the team, including estimating, sprint planning, software development life cycle activities, code reviews, testing, research, deployments, and documentation creation.
  • Adhere to collaboration and communication between development teams and IT to automate software delivery.
  • Contribute to advising on risk and order of feature development to deliver valuable, working software to production in a continuous release product lifecycle.
  • Remain abreast of technology developments within relevant fields to current and future initiatives and development work.
  • Use disciplined source control and process documentation.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with various requirements gathering techniques, software usability, and software prototyping.
  • Exposure to Agile software development lifecycle processes such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to work in an environment of multiple parallel projects and within a team environment.
  • C# or .NET development experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in protocols such as REST via Web API + JSON, OData.
  • Experience with MS DevOps (Scrum and Source Control).
  • Working knowledge and experience in technologies such as MS SharePoint online, Microsoft PowerBI, and Microsoft Azure.
