Role Overview
Reporting to the Associate Director of Client Operations, this position presents a distinctive opportunity to become part of a vibrant, rapidly expanding organization within the Financial Services sector.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive suite of fund accounting services to private equity clients, encompassing NAV preparation, accrual bookings, security pricing, and performing reconciliations of cash and security positions.
- Ensure accurate pricing of portfolios by adhering to relevant fund documents and valuation policies.
- Execute calculations for capital calls and distributions, along with their allocations.
- Formulate fee schedules, including management fee calculations and waterfalls, ensuring compliance with applicable fund documentation.
- Generate Investor allocations for each NAV cycle, ensuring accurate booking of capital transactions and proper allocation of P&L.
- Assemble NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables as specified in service level agreements.
- Address additional ad hoc requests and projects as needed.
- Liaise with internal MUFG teams and external clients to ensure all deliverables and requests are fulfilled.
- Assist in the preparation of audited Financial Statements, audit support, and other regulatory services as required.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- A university degree or professional designation such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc., is considered advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Fund Administration capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Previous fund accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
