Job Summary:
The Vancouver Aquarium is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Guest Experience Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Guest Experience team, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our visitors.
- Provide support to the Guest Experience management team and staff to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee the daily presentation and operation of our 4D Theatre experience, ensuring that our team is well-trained and confident in their film presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service that meets our high standards and expectations.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to our organization's values and goals.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, data entry, and visitor communication.
- Monitor and maintain organizational safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as required, including cross-training to support other areas of the organization.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in customer service or a related field.
- Strong customer service skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs.
- Ability to safely lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods of time.
- Flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
