About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Disability Claims Manager to join our team at SP Data Digital. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing disability claims and ensuring that our customers receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Evaluate Claims: Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of disability claims to determine eligibility and ensure that our customers receive the support they need.
  • Manage Claim Durations: Work with our customers and medical professionals to develop and implement plans to manage claim durations and ensure timely and sustainable returns to work.
  • Communicate with Customers: Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with our customers to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work collaboratively with our team members to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas to improve our claims management processes.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure that our claims management processes are compliant and effective.
Requirements
  • Bilingualism: Fluency in both English and French is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in disability claims management is required.
  • Education: A degree in a related field such as anatomy, biology, kinesiology, life sciences, or psychology is required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology, disability management best practices, and relevant provincial employment legislation is required.
