About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Commis 2.

Our work environment is characterized by a strong commitment to outstanding service and authentic experiences, coupled with a focus on creativity and innovation. We are looking for someone who is passionate about serving our guests and understands that guest satisfaction is a collective effort, thriving on teamwork and mutual respect.

Hourly Wage : $24.50

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute menu items for morning or afternoon service, including In Room Dining.
  • Set up food stations by gathering necessary equipment and materials.
  • Organize and manage food stations for service, including banquets and buffets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchens and food service areas throughout service.
  • Prepare and plate all items accurately and promptly as per the computer system.
  • Potential to specialize in pastry preparation.
  • Prepare dishes accommodating guests with allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Communicate effectively with cooks regarding timing and service.
  • Maintain records and order food, supplies, and kitchen equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary education is preferred; however, significant commercial cooking experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years of culinary experience.
  • A genuine passion for food.
  • Excellent knife skills and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Strong proficiency in the English language.
  • A solid commitment to service excellence and teamwork.
  • Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
