Job Title: Financial Director

Emplois iRecrutement is seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our company's financial strategy and ensuring the effective management of our financial resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's objectives, ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, managing cash flow, financial forecasts, and budgets, and overseeing internal and external audits.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in the development of the company's strategic plans by providing financial analyses and recommendations, collaborating with the President and the management team to identify growth, acquisition, or expansion opportunities, and developing financial models to evaluate the impacts of strategic decisions.
  • General Administration: Oversee IT services, ensure effective management of contracts, supplier negotiations, and purchasing policies, and manage risks related to compliance, security, and company insurance.
  • Team Management and Communication: Prepare and present financial reports to the President and the board of directors, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, lead and develop the finance and IT team, and ensure continuous training and professional development of team members.
Requirements:
  • Degree in finance, accounting, management, or a related field and a CPA designation. An MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or CDMO services sector.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial management practices, strong leadership, communication, and team management skills, and ability to work strategically and operationally in a fast-evolving environment.
