Environmental Engineering Internship at Ash Grove Cement

Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineering Summer Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing, specifically in the cement production process.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Complete a variety of engineering projects with various teams at our facilities, including maintenance, safety, mining, and process engineering.
- Present on completed projects to peers and corporate leadership at our headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas.
- Conduct research and propose changes to improve operating costs, efficiencies, environmental impact, safety, and product quality.
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program majoring in environmental engineering.
- Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally.
