Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at EHN Canada. As a Nutrition Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments with clients and their families, including diet histories and determining healthy weight ranges.
  • Develop and lead group nutrition education sessions, as well as collaborate with the treatment team to create individualized meal plans.
  • Work with clients one-on-one to assess their eating disorder and develop a personalized treatment plan.
  • Provide nutritional psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including medical staff, clinical therapists, and support staff.
  • Keep detailed records of clients' progress and treatment goals.
Requirements
  • Registered dietitian (RD) qualification.
  • Knowledge of eating disorder etiology.
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience working with clients in a mental health setting, with experience in inpatient or outpatient settings and working with adolescents and young adults.
  • Experience leading groups and facilitating individual assessments.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including family-based therapy (FBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
