Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Therapist to join our team at EHN Canada. As an experienced dietitian, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients struggling with eating disorders.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a registered dietitian to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families affected by eating disorders. In this position, you will provide individualized nutrition counseling, develop and lead group nutrition education sessions, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary treatment team to create comprehensive care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments with clients and their families, including diet histories, growth chart data, and determining healthy weight ranges.
  • Work one-on-one with clients to assess their eating disorder and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide nutritional psychoeducation and support.
  • Educate clients on the importance of nutrition for physical and mental health.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, clinical therapists, and other members of the treatment team.
  • Maintain detailed records of clients' progress and treatment goals.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) qualification
  • Knowledge of eating disorder etiology
  • Prior experience working with clients in a mental health setting, preferably in inpatient or outpatient settings, with a focus on adolescents and young adults
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team
