Rehabilitation Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Alpha Physio & Rehab Milton. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Treatment Programs: Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients recover from various injuries or disabilities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient rehabilitation progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
- Administrative Tasks: Process files and paperwork, schedule and confirm appointments, and perform other administrative duties as required.
- Client Focus: Provide exceptional patient care and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate treatment plans and progress to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to achieve common goals and provide exceptional patient care.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Initiative: Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Reliability: Demonstrate a strong commitment to attendance, punctuality, and meeting deadlines.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English language proficiency.
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
