About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Alpha Physio & Rehab Milton. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Programs: Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients recover from various injuries or disabilities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient rehabilitation progress to track progress and inform treatment decisions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process files and paperwork, and schedule and confirm appointments to ensure seamless patient care.
Personal Qualities
  • Client Focus: Provide exceptional patient care and attention to detail to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and patient needs to ensure efficient and effective care.
  • Initiative: Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities to ensure timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  • Organization: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
