About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to join our team at Rome Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving our fundraising efforts and developing strategic partnerships to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve our annual goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and foundation officials
  • Oversee the development and implementation of annual fundraising campaigns, special events, and grant requests
  • Direct the marketing and communications efforts to promote our organization and its mission
  • Supervise a team of fundraising professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve our organizational goals
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit or social service organization
  • Proven track record of success in major gift fundraising, annual campaigns, and special events
  • Supervisory experience and ability to motivate a team to achieve goals
  • Strong critical thinking skills, sound decision-making, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
