Chief Development Officer

Starkloff Disability Institute (SDI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Development Officer to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive development strategy, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and overseeing the development team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a strategic development plan to achieve fundraising goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community leaders
- Oversee the development team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of development initiatives
- Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- 7-10 years of experience in fundraising and development, preferably in a non-profit setting
- Proven track record of success in achieving fundraising goals and building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree required
