Job Title: Restaurant Cook

Vitos Uptown is seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Work under the supervision of a Cook (general) to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook Canadian, Greek, and Italian cuisine to meet customer demands
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks
  • Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player skills
